Downgrade a project 4.22 to 4.21.2

Hi there,
I’m trying to downgrade a project from 4.22 to 4.21.2 but it didn’t work anyhow. I read all documentation about downgrading and nobody has an answer for long before, but maybe someone has a solution now. I also tried it with right click to “.uproject” file and select “switch unreal editor version” and i have this message “Failed to open map file. This is most likely because the map was saved with a newer version of the engine.” and despite all assets appear in the content section, there is nothing but black scene, also in wireframe. How can i solve this problem??
Thank you for your time!

right click on .uproject of your project. click on “Switch Unreal Engine Version” and select the engine version

Ah, thank you! But tried this and had a message like this;
“Failed to open map file. This is most likely because the map was saved with a newer version of the engine.” and despite all assets appear in the content section, there is nothing but black scene, also in wireframe. How can i solve this problem?

Is your project c ++ or just blueprint?

make a backup of your project, now delete the following folders:

Binaries, Intermediate and Saved.

and again do the same as put up in the answer, a message about the reconstruction of the files will appear. click on “yes”

just blueprint

Unfortunately it didn’t work, same message appear. Exported and imported same scene again with datasmith 4.21 version, copy-pasted everything except meshes; lights, reflectors, sky light included from 4.22 to 4.21 and looks like it works. But now sky sphere lost and cannot copy from other document. And also i think i have to make a lot of revisions with materials.

Surely there is some assent that is causing the incompatibility. I could not tell you more.

Thank you for your interest
