Is there a limit to foliage that can be placed?
Since I cannot find a level streaming process that works well in Unreal Engine, I am forced to use one giant map. I am populating the map with foliage using a combination of procedural foliage volumes and foliage painting tool. It seems I must have maxed out the foliage on the map because if I add more, the engine crashes. Most of the foliage is culled to a fairly short distance for the sake of saving RAM, but This is only one of the issues I am having with foliage. I wanted to finish the map with a procedural foliage volume, but when I place it in the level, I cannot grab it to translate it's location, or size and rotate. The cursor becomes the pan camera tool when I highlight any object translate arrows. Does anyone have an answer as to what may be going on?
