Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

That looks like UHT has crashed.

Do you have the DirectX runtimes installed? http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8109

If so, can you try running UHT (UE4/Engine/Binaries/Win64/UnrealHeaderTool.exe) manually via explorer to see if it reports any errors.

Oh, I think that's the real problem. I have forgot to install DirectX runtimes after I reinstalled my windows. Will install that and try in a few minutes.

By the way, I have compiled UE4 a few times. But never get the android packaging options. Do I have to configure something on the compilation to get the android options?

You need to have the Android SDK installed before you see the packaging options for Android.

For more details of getting Android set up, see this wiki: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/Android/GettingStarted/

Have installed the android sdk and did other steps on the documentation but did not get the android options.

Do I have to install the android sdk before compiling the engine?

Yeah, you need the Android SDK to be able to build the AndroidTargetPlatform modules, so you'll need to install it before you build (or just build again after installing it).
