Select - Save As Default

Select - Export…

Close Editor Settings popup

Close the Editor and Restart

Your Custom Layout will be evident

Close the Custom Layout panel with your custom tab array.

Close and Reopen Editor - Note Custom Tabs panel is gone

Import the Exported Custom layout and follow the prompt to Restart Editor.

On restart, notice the custom layout is gone.

Results
Does not work as expected or anticipated. Import file, closes and reopens editor, but with previous layout.

Workflow slowdown results

Expected

Custom Layout is supported. Often people close windows but cannot revive a closed custom panel-tab array

Custom Layout files can have a unique filename to associate it with it’s function (Ex: All Tabs.ini, MyTools.ini)

Editor Restart is not required.

Main Toolbar\Window supports custom layouts and has a fly out containing your custom layouts.

Hey David,

Currently you would save the layout under Window->Save layout, incidentally though I’ve noticed their is no ‘load layout’. I have submitted this for the team to add in. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Ryan
