[Bug] skeletal mesh window open and reimporting FBX causes crash

It seem that having your skeletal mesh window open and reimporting the entire FBX file will crash rocket just after the chuck processing, this was in the beta 4/newest build

EDIT : by reimport i meant, importing the same FBX as a new asset and just saying yes to all to overwrite.

Hi Marc,

I have not been able to get this to occur. As indicated, I performed the following steps:

  • Import a SkeletalMesh to a folder
  • Open the SkeletalMesh in Persona (on the default “Mesh” tab)
  • With Persona still open, right-click in the same folder and import the same SkeletalMesh
  • Choose Yes to All to overwrite

For me, the import occurs successfully and I can continue to work with the open SkeletalMesh. Please let me know if this crash is occurring for you under all conditions, or if you are using particular import options or other settings when it happens.

I can’t seem to get it to crash now, but it was doing it every time earlier, ill update if i come across what i did to make it crash.
