I have a large performance drop while working in wireframe mode. This also occurs in lit mode with volumes visible (any vector lines, for that matter).

Is there a way to disable anti aliasing on vector lines in my editor ? It’s not necessary and it’s killing my graphics card.

Hi,
Has anyone found a solution to this issue yet ?

Cheers,

I had a quick rummage, but I don’t believe this feature can be disabled from within Rocket.

I think you might be able to do this partially in the driver, I think there are still post process effects used in wireframe mode but you can go into your Nvidia Control Panel and manage 3D application settings and do it Per Application for Rocket in specific then you can turn AA off entirely.

Thanks for the help. One thing I envision is this being an issue across an array of users. Are you guys seeing the same issue ?

Also - I’m updating my drivers now to check if this is a possible solution.

OK. It’s not AA specifically. It’s the general performance of wireframes and it appears to be proportional to actor density and\or AA. It’s chugging between 16-24 fps with only a few meshes.

I have just checked a relatively empty map and another map with over 1k objects(physics enabled) in a small area and it is depending on the density of the objects. I honestly wouldn’t expect it to behave any better in my test and it is not making the gfx work more than normal, so it seems like something is wrong on your end.

I have a GTX 460 and using the latest driver, btw.

Mehmet, you are correct !

I updated my drivers and now I am pinned to over 100 fps.

Thank you all very much for your help here. It feels like a new Editor.
