DX11 feature level 10.0 is required

I have tried to install unreal for a while now and every time"DX11 feature level 10.0 is required’ pops up. i updated my pc, change and updated my graphics card but it still shows up. i have a GeForce 710 gtx that has dx11 and 11-9 features and all the requirements to download this but its still doesn’t work.

There’s no such thing as 710 gtx. Is this the card you’ve got:

Just like last time - post DxDiag please

The minimum GPU spec back when UE4 was released was GeForce GTX 470 - that was 6 years ago. That card is roughly 8 times faster than the 710 you have. And things have moved on since then, too.

Theoretically, you should be able to run the engine on 710 but in practice you cannot, it seems. Atm, it seems that your PC chooses to use your integrated card instead - hence the error.

Hard to tell why this is happening. On thing is sure, if you want to run a cutting edge game dev engine, you need half-decent hardware. GeForce 710 is not even an entry-level card.

Besides, are you trying to make 710 work in 4k (tv?!) It’s all so strange.

Long story short I needed to use my tv until my new monitor comes in. Will a GeForce Gtx 1650 graphics card work or be good enough to run unreal, because I can’t find any GeForce Gtx 470 graphics card.

because I can’t find any GeForce Gtx
470 graphics card.

Definitely do not buy that, it’s ancient. 6 years is a long time for a GPU…

GeForce Gtx 1650

Yes, that will do just fine. Alternatively, do consider AMD’s Radeon RX 570 at this price point. $100 for a used one if you spend some time looking for a sweater deal.
