Problems running a server with multiple adapters

How can I get an unreal engine server to use a specific IP address on a box with multiple adapters?

Detail: I am running an unreal server on a windows box that also has VMWare installed (totally unrelated to this project, its just there for other purposes) and unreal for some unknown reason always selects one of the VMWare virtual adapters instead of the machine’s physical adapter. I need some way to force the engine to select the adapter I want it to use instead of making it’s own choices  (tried multihome=physical_ip_address_here to no avail)

Thanks for any help
