So I am trying to make a ladder for my character to climb, I have made some progress through it and I already got a way to fix his position while he is on the stairs, but I cannot find a way to “substitute” the default forward movement keys for up and down while he is on the stairs. I cannot find a way to reference variables from other blueprints into the character blueprint and I was not very succesful on trying to make a new movement mode. I need help on this.
I still couldn’t find a way to rebind my forward input while on the ladder, but I wish to find a way to alter my forward input to a up vector while the character is on the ladder
