Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

"Show cursor" Doesn't work? (UMG)

Hi! Seems to me that when adding a widget to the viewport with "show cursor" ticked, it still hides the cursor normally unless you alt tab&re tab first, and even then the cursor is invisible. (That is if you are opening the widget to a screen that did not have cursor enabled previously, ie. Esc-menu) Thanks!

Hi DoctorPC,

Have you made sure that in your playercontroller the "showcursor" is checked as well?

no, I am absolutely not sure. Where can I adjust it (becauseof the nature of my game, I am not actually basing my character on "Chracter"; but "Pawn"(6DOF-movement), which could make the matters more difficult?

Hi DoctorPC,

If you create a new PlayerController and leave it blank, you can access "Show Cursor" in the Defaults menu. Compile and save this then make sure that you are using this player controller in your level. If all of your movement is in your Pawn it will not affect your movement/interaction while allowing you to have access to your cursor.
