Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

invalid drive when reinstalling launcher

So I ran into this classic problem, when trying to install UE4 on a PC that had it installed before.

I get "Invalid Drive: E:\" when running "UnrealEngineInstaller-1.7.0-2282482.msi"

I dont have the E:\ drive on my computer anymore

I dont have a C:\ProgramData\Epic folder

I dont have any C:\USER\currectuser\Appdata\Local\Unreal* folders

I am admin on the PC

What do I need to fix before I can reinstall the launcher again?

Thanks!

Nevermind, I bit the bullet and reinstalled a fresh win 7. It was due after 2 years anyway. Problem solved.
