I am wondering what middleware was removed from UE4.
So far I know that Speedtree and Scaleform were removed. What else?
Simplegon, Allegorithmic Substance… I think that’s it.
Substance integration is in the works though. I don’t know about Simplegon.

I was told Simplygon was present, but it sounds like UE4 has no middleware left in it 
Simplygon have ready integration hooks. So you need to buy and integrate on your own.
SpeedTree is integrated to some degree, but i wouldn’t count on free editor. When integration will be fully operational IDV will probably announce similar deal to Unity 5.
can’t wait for substance engine reintegration from UE3 :0.
Sounds like there will be a separate version of UE4, with integrated middleware. Correct?
