Lighting is broken on 4.7 html5 build

Hey. The project i made for mobile, works without any problem on ios and android. But with the new packaging option for html5 totally brokes my scene’s lighting. Most of the things look black on scene and i have no idea what is not supported on html5, or something is buggy. I just can say that project is made from scratch to work on mobile devices so there is no feature enabled like ssr, dynamic light or post process except txaa.

I have the same problem. If I recreate the lighting it will work for a few builds but at some point all the lights except the directional light fail.

Hi all,

We have had some critical updates since this question was asked; can you update to 4.7.4 and see if you’re still seeing the same problems? Thanks very much!

Yes, just built with 4.7.4 but still having the same problem. I think i need to share some visuals to get better support?

Hi theknoppix,

You mentioned your project looks fine on iOS and Android; is that packaged or in the mobile preview? Have you tried using compressed lightmaps and see if you get the same error? If you are only seeing this in uncompressed maps, it may be related to this, a known issue with uncompressed lightmaps. That issue is currently slated to be included in the 4.8 release, but that is a tentative schedule, so be on the lookout for it.

It’s packaged and tried almost on 12 different phones and tablets. Both on android and ios is works fine. I choose to package often and try on real hardware instead of using mobile preview. Yes i’m using uncompressed lightmaps on mobile and i’m sure i tried without compression and hdr, but i don’t know should i build lightmaps again after change compression settings? Because i didn’t. Thanks for feedback but it would be better to see this bug fixed on any 4.7.x release.

Looks like i should build it again. Probably the problem is same as you linked because my lightmaps almost look like that. (inverted and with more contrast)
