Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Trying to publish a map for UT-Pre alpha leads to a UAT.bat failed to run Error

Every time I attempt to publish and cook a map for UT I'm then met with a publishing failed message.

I've been looking through my output log as i noticed almost immediately whats stopping the initial publish, the Automation tool gives me an access denied message than halts the cook completely.

My question is , How would you go about fixing this issue? Cause I would really love to share this map.

Have you tried deleting your Intermediate and Saved folders and trying to package again? If you look through the logs, it looks as though there are a lot of files that can't be found. I would suggest looking through those files and making sure they're not being incorrectly referenced in your project.

Please reply back with additional details, thanks!

Thanks for the heads up Samantha, I was able to get the map in game with that knowledge.

However another issue has popped up but it has nothing to do with this issue it cooks and plays fine, just the Background music cuts out whenever someone gets shredded by a flak cannon.

Make sure you aren't using up all of your audio channels. By default you can only have 32 sounds playing at once.

If Shohei's suggestion doesn't resolve your audio problem, please submit a new thread so that I can get that over to someone who handles audio.

Thank you! :)
