I was trying to break in development on an android platform by building the supplied mobile example, SWING NINJA, on my android tablet, partly to see what settings I’d need for our projects.
I’ve included the build log below. It built successfully but when It launched on the tablet it came up with a black screen that minimized out shortly after. The program ran in the background for a bit. Returning to the program resulted in a prompt to wait for unreal to respond or close it out. Ultimately it remain black until I closes it or when I attempt another build or when I close it.
My tablet is an Asus ME172V and it runs android 4.1.1 I’ve tired the various texture compressions, I.e. ETC1, ETC2, etc. Same result. Black screen

UPDATE. This behavior is not limited to Swing Ninja. I made a small project and tried to build it onto my tablet and got the same-- black screen UE4 on the tablet-- result

We’re working on expanding our Android compatibility, but for now we can only guarantee performance on a limited range of devices. Unfortunately, your tablet is not on our list of supported devices.
