If you want to try the following things you might want make a copy of your project to test it:
If you are using the Nativize Blueprints option in the project settings and renamed you project, you need to search for files with the extension “.target” and delete them from your Project directory.
You also could try to delete the folder named ‘saved’ in your Projekt directory (at least you can delete ‘autosaves’, ‘Backup’ and ‘Logs’ in that folder without any danger)
Also the ‘intermediate’ folder might has some interrupting files. Folders like ‘build’, ‘staging’ and ‘WindowsNoEditor’ are not needed.
When tryong to package the project to test it it always fails cause its looking for old files that are no longer in the project cause i have deleted them or moved the contents of the folder some where else. Does anyone know a fix for this thanks.
simplest way, create new empty project, then open ur old project and select ur assets which is used in ur game and right click and select Migrate , and then choose the content folder of the new project u have created
Now, open ur new project, assign any blueprint to ur GameMode if there is any, and start pack ur game
