is the Project Logs and Dump file for the crash.
Located: ProjectName\Saved\Logs\

In order to help us troubleshoot your issue, please provide the following information:

**Did you hit “Submit” on the Crash Reporter pop-up to send the Crash Report to Epic?

If the crash reporter window is present, select “Copy Callstack to the Clipboard,” paste that information in a document and add to this post.

Also, if possible, please include the following logs:
“UE4.log” Located: Engine\Saved\Logs
“ProjectName.log” Located: ProjectName\Saved\Logs\

Thanks

Hello the information i get on the crash is and Copyed to Clipboard is the one posted above.

The logs in Located: Engine\Saved\Logs\ is not there only have “.log” that contains

Just a record of success.

is the Project Logs and Dump file for the crash.

Thank you for your support.

Thanks for all the documentation you have supplied so far.

One last thing that would be helpful… if you can recreate this crash again and have the crash reporter screen pop up: Press “Submit.” This sends a separate crash report directly to Epic and will be useful in replacement of “record of success” log. (Then we can use the documentation you’ve already supplied to locate that specific report to your specific crash.)

Thanks

Hello i did send the report directly to epic i will re create it and upload a image.

Just to clarify, did you click the “Submit Crash Report” button at the bottom right corner of the above image? -I have to match your machine ID to the file that’s sent when you press that button and so far have been unable to.

That is od, maybe i pressed the wrong button?.
I sendt a new one and is the image, this has been sendt even waited for the timer to close the dialog after pressing “Submit Crash Report” (Bottom Right Corner Button to the Left)…

Sorry late reply the holidays got the best of me.

Edit: I tracked down the point of the crash:

Fatal error:
[File:D:\BuildFarm\buildmachine_++depot+UE4-Releases+4.6\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\Templates\Casts.cpp]
[Line: 11] Cast of nullptr to
LocalPlayer failed
Dont know whats going on there.

HiWCode,

Thanks for taking the time to provide all requested documentation. I was able to retrieve your report on our crash reporter page and have used that to enter following bug report [UE-7026].

If the developers are able to identify the source of the issue and/or correct it, an update will be added to this post.

Thank you looking forward to it.
And happy holidays!

Hi ,

I know this is a post from way back, but I’ve started to get this recently, did you have any luck clearing it?

Hi PDubulous,

Since this is such an old post, please start a new post and paste the callstack from the crash reporter (pictured above).

Thanks,

.

Hey , It looks like it was some old asset data that was left over. I went through my log files and the output log during a build and cleared everything out and it works now. Leaving this for posterity.
