So I have this destructible mesh that essentially fills a hole in the wall. When I explode it I want the pieces to go flying behind and in front of the door, removing the clutter from the hole allowing the player to go through. W
When I explode my mesh however. Some of the peices stay where the hole is, and do not allow the player through. How do I fix this?
Here is an image. As you can see there are still pieces clogging up the hole.
But it goes in all directions. Including up in down. (I think, correct me if I’m wrong). Won’t the pieces that go up and down crash into the top and bottom of the hole, and just stay there?
I haven’t tried it yet (I’m far from being good at this) but I suspect you should pick your chunks and manage their direction using the panels “Fracture Settings” (see my screen and the tooltip description).
You need to explode your mesh to be able to pick chunks.
