Ever since updating to 4.19, I cannot make even the simplest Destructible Meshes continue to simulate their physics after breaking apart. The moment they “crack,” the object freezes in place and refuses any further inputs. I’ve tried old meshes, and even created new (very simple) ones using this tutorial:
https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/Videos/PLZlv_N0_O1gYeJX3xX44yzOb7_kTS7FPM/-gGiEmYj4oE
I cannot get to happen what happens in that tutorial using the exact same steps.
Furthermore, the Fracture Mesh button within the Destructible Mesh editor keeps adding data to the Skeletal Mesh table, despite changing it or clearing it out. Because of this, I’m not sure if any editing I make to that data is really being saved when I hit “Save.”
Finally, the Explode Amount slider rarely works. There are some actions I can take that will update the preview window with whatever my current Explode Amount is set to, but moving the slider around does not update the actual explode amount under any circumstances. Also, hitting the Fracture Mesh button will preview my Mesh as if the Explode Amount was 0, even if the slider has a value.
This was all working in 4.18.
