How can I attach a beam emitter between two objects in Sequencer?

I’m trying to attach a beam emitter between two animated objects in Sequencer, but I have not been successful. I tried using a particle parameter track, but I can’t get that to work at all- no parameter options show up on when I hit the + Track button. I may be able to use a blueprint, but is there a way to do it directly in Sequencer?
