Hello,
I’m currently trying to learn a bit more about matinee and rendering in order to show off some of my models that I’ve built and textured.
What I have right now is a camera movement simply looking at an old airplane with its propeller spinning. As the propeller speed increases the plane moves forward to take off.
I’ve gotten to the point where my matinee is set up, the sequence runs fine and I’ve exported an image sequence out.
However, my images look incredibly low in quality. There seems to be absolutely no anti-aliasing going on, exposure is bright, and most annoyingly my motion blur is not quite working correctly. My textures blur when the plane is in motion, but the edges of my model do not (this is making my propeller look awful). I’ve enabled and key-framed motion blur, amount at 1, and max at 100 for my camera actor in the matinee timeline.
I’ve been seeing exported movie examples on the internet and they all seem to be much higher in quality and the edges of their models are blurring correctly.
Does anyone have any idea what’s going on here?
