how to gradually stop sounds?

Use Fade Out instead of Stop to gradually fade out your ambient sound. All details here:

I have a question regarding the gradual stop of an ambient sound. I have created a simple system where i can toggle between day and night by the press of a button, and at the same time starting/stopping the ambient sound that matches. This is how the system is built:

My level is basically a plane with a building in the middle, and i want these sounds to only play when im on the plane. To do this i created a trigger box at the entrance of the building, that stops whatever ambient sound that is playing on player begin overlap. However, the current sound stops abruptly which sounds unnatural. The way the box operates is shown here:

My question is: is there a way to make the sound stop gradually?
