LG G2 - Problems with Previews and Builds

Hi,
at the moment I am very frustrated. I have bought a LG G2 for testing purposes. But its not possible to use it with the Unreal Engine 4.5. The preview always fails (the push command hangs) and the built apks do not work. (When I start the installed program on my device I get a short black screen and then it jumps back to the program folder) I tried everything (ETC1, ETC 2 etc.) I used the normal “blank project” for my tests. As you can see nothing special. I didnt had these problems with my old Samsung Galaxy S3. On the LG G2 I am running Android 4.4.2.

Loooking at LogCat might give you a hint whats going on, LogCat is a tool which shows you all the logs from device you can find in in DDMS

I tried everything again on my Notebook with a fresh USB-Driver. Now the preview works but I get the following error message:

Why do the preview dont work? Could this be a bug in the Unreal Engine 4,51. I have no other solution for it.

Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on the engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur. Due to timetable of when this issue was first posted, we are marking this post as resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported in the current engine version, then please respond to this message with additional information and we will investigate as soon as possible. If you are experiencing a similar, but different issue at this time, could you please submit a new report for it.

thank you very much for your answer. I checked everything again. You are right. With engine version 4.7.4 the push works with the LG G2. :slight_smile:
