I know this is a huge ask but i want to put it out there. A time of day system similar to what Cryengine has, it allows you to rapidly create any type of outdoor lighting you could want very very fast. Here is a video of it in action. You can change around 100+ settings around your sky and lighting all in one tool. If this were an actor it would be amazing noticed that atmospheric fog mixed with a dynamic light can make some good results but it seems limited in speed and versatility.
I used to be a huge Cryengine fan until I got into the rocket beta but there are still a lot of things that I feel Cryengine has in terms of speed and the ability to iterate that unreal can’t match yet. With that said there are massive flaws (or missing things) in Cryengine that lead people to unreal. This is one of those things.
