Static mesh (imported from Blender) has too many material elements

The mesh I imported from Blender has 8 material elements despite only using one material in Blender. Does anyone know how how rectify this, even if it’s an issue in Blender?

Does your mesh have multiple sub meshes inside it that u could separate? If so it probably automatically creates a material element for each “Sub Mesh”. If this is the case export them separately and then combine them inside Unreal Editor so that instead of One mesh having 8 elements u have 8 meshes with 1 element?
